Ascensia DEX Blood Glucose Meter
The Ascensia DEX is perfect for someone who cannot handle test strips with ease. This disc-based monitor can perform up to ten tests without reloading. The disc automatically calibrates the monitor. This monitor can store up to 100 blood glucose readings, along with date and time of each. The monitor is also computer friendly. You can download your test results and store them in your computer. The Ascensia DEX also gives you proper averages of your blood glucose meter over a specified time.
There are ten test strips per disc. Each disc can be easily changed out when the strips have been used. This monitor can read glucose in the ranges from 20 to 600. Once your blood sample has been taken, it takes approximately 30 seconds to obtain a reading. This meter requires two 3-volt lithium batteries.
