Medicare Covered Diabetes Testing SuppliesAmerican Diabetic Supply would like to take the confusion out of Medicare for our diabetic patients. Medicare has two different benefits. They are Medicare Part A and Medicare Part B. If you are age 65 or older, or if you are under 65 and have a disability, Medicare can provide coverage for you.
Medicare Part A and Part B
Medicare Part A covers your inpatient hospital stays and can be viewed as hospital insurance. It also covers hospice care, some home healthcare and skilled nursing facilities. Medicare Part A is usually free of charge. Medicare Part B provides you with medical insurance and is optional. If you choose to have Part B, you will have to pay a monthly premium. Medicare Part B covers doctor visits, outpatient hospital care, and many other services that Part A does not cover. Some of these services can include physical and occupational therapy, making Part B a solid healthcare investment. Medicare has a booklet available full of information for diabetics. This booklet will explain your coverage and the services they will cover.
American Diabetic Supply has years of experience with Medicare. We can file your claims for you and ship your supplies to you in three month bulk orders. We encourage you to enroll with our service today and let American Diabetic Supply be your liaison with Medicare.
